Of the transaxle variety. I’m changing my trans fluid tonight and got a new pair of transaxle plugs. The original ones are corroded and stuck in place, so I’ll be calling on my two best tool friends on this one: Mr. Benzene Torch and Pb Blaster.

Is a benzene torch a thing, or did you mean butane? I’m guessing the latter, but if not, you should be aware of just how carcinogenic benzene is.

I know your pain. I have two differentials and a gearbox screaming for new lubricant, but I am staring at these oxidized plugs and thinking of excuses.
